What is the Primary Classroom Curriculum?

The Primary Classroom Curriculum delivers evidence-led SEL content to help primary-school-aged children build their life-long mental fitness skills.

 

The Primary Classroom Curriculum is a comprehensive and stand-alone SEL program. Through pre-planned lesson content, children learn, practice and integrate social and emotional skills.

While the lessons have been designed for students, the curriculum was created for educators like you.

The Primary Classroom Curriculum, supports educators with pre-planned lessons to streamline your SEL delivery and access to a range of resources, webinars and tips from the Smiling Mind team.

 

Each individual subscription includes 12 months access to:

  • 120 pre-planned lessons for year levels 1 to 6, across 20 SEL topics including Self-Compassion, Recognising and Managing Emotions, Making Decisions, Positive Relationships and Communication and Empathy. See the full list of topics included in the program and the learning intentions.

Victorian Government Schools can access funding for our program

Following a rigorous application and assessment process, Smiling Mind’s Primary Classroom Curriculum has been added to the Victorian Schools Mental Health Menu.

It’s a Tier 1: Positive Mental Health Promotion program, and is recognised for its foundational and emerging evidence.

Victorian state schools are eligible for a subsidy to cover the cost of both individual and a whole school purchases. We’ve simplified the process for purchasing using your funding.
