Dr Lucinda Poole Content Manager and Workshop Facilitator
Lucinda is a psychologist, and mindfulness group facilitator. She is trained and experienced in a number of therapeutic approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy, and interventions drawn from Positive Psychology research (e.g., strength-based change, self-compassion). At the core of Lucinda’s clinical work is the practice of mindfulness meditation, and she has received extensive training in the area. Lucinda works with clients presenting with a range of difficulties, and she has observed the profound impact that learning mindfulness skills can have across the lifespan.
Lucinda was introduced to mindfulness through Yoga, and fell in love with it immediately; the experience of mind and body integration left her with a deep sense of strength, stability and clarity of mind. From here, she worked on establishing a regular personal practice.
Lucinda is passionate about teaching mindfulness to young people, so that they may begin to develop healthy mind habits early in life.
